Iraq 10 Years: Photographs by Sean Smith
He witnessed the "shock and awe" bombing of Baghdad, watched Iraqi families flee their homes in the hunt for insurgents, and saw US soldiers killed on patrol by improvised explosive device blasts. Photographer Sean Smith has documented events in Iraq for the Guardian newspaper since 2003.
To mark 10 years since the start of the Iraq War, some of his most thought-provoking and powerful images are being displayed in a new exhibition at the Imperial War Museum North in Trafford, Greater Manchester. Take a look here - as Sean explains the stories behind the photographs.
