New York's Museum of Natural History will host a 'co-operative space game' tonight

New York's Hayden Planetarium Dome will host a 200-player interactive game tonight, created by indie game collective Babycastles and Designer Ivan Safrin

The American Museum of Natural History's Hayden Planetarium Dome in New York will tonight host "Space Cruiser," a 200-player space game. According to Space Cruiser's creators, the game "transforms the theater into a living, breathing, spaceship," in which players will navigate around a "beautiful fictitious universe." The game is the result of a collaboration between Babycastles, an indie arcade collective operating out of Brooklyn, and designer Ivan Safrin.

Babycastles are also curating a "Space Arcade" outside the dome, featuring a collection of game cabinets from independent developers. Unfortunately tickets to the event are sold out and there are no plans for another on the horizon. You can get a glimpse of what you'll be missing out on in the video below.
