Two trailers for the the US Army-exclusive title "Dismounted Training System" has appeared online, showcasing the game's use of Crytek's CryEngine 3.

The US Army's $57 million training "game" was announced back in May, and it said to feature huge areas as compared to the tightly crafted maps found in games like Modern Warfare 3. Unlike game's like Full Spectrum Warrior, the Army-sponsored game isn't slated to be available to the general public, which is a shame because it looks gorgeous.

        i thought that too...they just look off.... though i was reading an article on this on another website... apparently the animations are all motion captured! :/

      i haven't seen it since i'm at work - but is it just like dismounting from a trooper carrier / hmmv on react to contact drills or something?

      if so, i mean that's awesome but i hope it doesn't take the place of actually doing it during blank/live fire exercises.
