YouMail, which was pulled from the Android Market at the request of T-Mobile, is back. The developers behind the app once again took to their blog, this time to deconstruct exactly what happened to get the app pulled in the first place. As it turns out, T-Mobile was right in saying that YouMail was a source of potential network disruption — an earlier version of the software was continuously communicating with YouMail's servers. It also turns out that T-Mobile had also reached out to YouMail about the issue. Unfortunately for all involved, the carrier did so via YouMail's standard customer service email address and apparently didn't work to escalate the issue when that didn't lead to a resolution.

Both the carrier and the app developer worked out their issues today, resolving the communication bugs both within the app and between the two parties.
