Google Apps Users Can’t Use Google+

I love Google Apps. I like Google+. I’ll be happy when they work together–and when, in fact, it’s possible to bop between a Google Apps Google Account and a standard one without a fair amount of hassle.

As always, Google's paying customers are always getting the new stuff late. Most companies work the other way around, but not at Google, at Google when you pay you are a second class user. I am quite tired of this crap.

The world is going crazy… people are forgetting the meaning of alpha and beta releases and limited tests…

I am a paying Apps customer and I wouldn't like a half baked product to be implemented in my organization. Let them find out what is wrong with it, fix it and then make it available to us quick.

…. you are forgetting the meaning of checkbox, actually…. I am a paying Apps customer, too, and I would like to try this "half baked product":-)

Nobody is stopping you from trying it. A google account is free, you know…

Typical problem. Only reason I have a basic Google account is to try stuff like this AND use my Android powered phone. It is such a hassle to be forced to activate my Android phone with my basic Google account and then add my Apps account. Syncing between both results in duplicate contacts. I use my App email address for everything. This is such a pain.
Sorry, I went off on a major tangent but this depicts the typical Google Apps problem in a nutshell. If anyone has successfully dealt with this I'd love to hear about it.

Just want to join in the chorus here. As Apps users, we're some of Google's most loyal, tech-savvy followers. We also tend to be more vocal and connected than the average bear.

    And yet we're left behind?

The workarounds above aren't satisfactory. The whole idea behind Plus is that it flows through your entire web experience seamlessly—without the need for Icognito windows, multiple sign-ins, etc.

    Please, Google. Fix this.

I recently transferred everything from my Standard Google account to my Google apps account, primarily because that is what Google made me do, including all of my Google Voice contacts and history. Now I am forced to use my old account with Google , this is ridiculous. Granted I am not a paying apps user, it would be nice to have the choice to use a single account for everything.

I wonder how many users Google is losing out on because of this incongruence between the apps accounts and standard accounts. I would also be extremely peeved if I were a paying customer getting shafted, I do understand them not wanting to deliver a potentially ‘broken’ product to paying clients, but most of us signed up to use ALL Google products, not just the ones they decide we can use with our apps accounts.

Really pissed off about this one Google, looks like I’ll be sticking with Facebook and not using my account until they get this crap sorted. FIX IT GOOGLE!!!
