HYDE PARK — Which would be cooler to see in real life, the Golden Gate Bridge made out of Legos or the original Darth Vader mask from “Star Wars?”

The Museum of Science and Industry is conducting an online poll to see what visitors would like to see come to the museum at 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive as a temporary exhibit over the next five years.

Among the nine options the museum presents on the survey website are an exhibit on the science of bridges in which guests can see engineering feats recreated in Legos and build their own structures. Other options include an exhibit on costume design featuring 60 costumes from the “Star Wars” films, including Queen Amidala’s regal gown and the gilded suit of the robot C-3PO.

The survey runs through May 3 on the museum’s website at http://bit.ly/13vpmX7, and each respondent is entered in a raffle for one of three $100 Amazon gift cards.

Other ideas the survey presents include the science of rock and roll, a history of the Rubik’s Cube, a look behind the curtain of circus-style freak show acts and other exhibits on animated films, famous inventions and football.

“Uncover the science and math behind football and learn what it means to have a 'rifle arm' while you test your throwing skills in the Passing Cage area,” the survey says of a potential football exhibit. “See if you can match the speed of an NFL running back, learn the ideal trajectory for kicking a field goal and more.”

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
