CHICAGO — A 60-year-old Washington Heights man was killed when he was struck by an Amtrak train Sunday night, authorities said.
Eddie Campbell, of the 9300 block of South Wallace Street, was pronounced dead at 6:33 p.m. after being hit near the intersection of 116th Street and South State Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Investigators believe the death may have been a suicide.
No further information was available early Monday.
