Boy, 17, stabbed in Streatham

A road has been closed after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in south London.

Police were called to Streatham High Road at 16:55 GMT to reports of an assault.

An air ambulance attended and the youngster was taken to hospital where he is in a stable condition.

One man has been arrested for grievous bodily harm and a temporary road closure remains in place, said police.
