Happy Friday, everyone! What made for a tolerable (but sunless) forecast Thursday becomes, in Skilling Central’s words, “damp and raw,” with some patches of rain throughout the day, possibly mixed with sleet. And Chicago may not even get the freezing rain; the best chance of that happening will be in the far northwest suburbs. If there’s anything that will make us feel like we’re on the cusp of winter, it’s the wind. Coming in from the northeast, breezes are expected to pick up overnight to anywhere between 8 to 17 mph, setting the stage for a gray, drizzly weekend.
