London Councils breaking law over families' B&B stays

More than one in three of the capital's councils are unlawfully housing homeless families in Bed & Breakfast accommodation, BBC London reports.

By law, councils must not keep children in a B&B for more than a maximum of six weeks.

This report features Amanda, a homeless mother, Ken Jones, in charge of housing at Barking and Dagenham Council and Jane Pritchard, a housing lawyer.
