ALBANY PARK — A man is dead after being stabbed repeatedly by his roommate, authorities said.
About 7:15 p.m. Monday, police responded to a call in the 4800 block of North Drake Avenue and found a 26-year-old man with stab wounds in his chest, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.
The man was rushed to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 8:24 p.m. Monday, authorities said. He was identified as Eber Ochoa-Deleon by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Police said Ochoa-Deleon was stabbed after an argument with his roommate turned violent. The roommate is in police custody, but no charges were filed as of Tuesday morning, Greer said.
