Twitter Poaches Another Googler for Biz Dev Position

Twitter has snatched up Matthew Derrella, a former Google business development director, Derella announced Monday morning via his Twitter account. As was first reported by AdAge, Derella will head up ad agency partner relations, working under global revenue president Adam Bain. The hire comes in the wake of Twitter luring away a number of Googlers for high-ranking positions, including comms chief Gabriel Stricker and VP of global online sales Richard Alfonsi.
