Scosche is making a play for audio at CES 2013 with a range of new accessories. By far the most interesting product in the company’s lineup is the boomBottle, a portable Bluetooth speaker specifically designed to fit in the bottle holder of a bicycle. Naturally, the speaker will see its fair share of abuse when strapped to a bike, which is why the boomBottle has a waterproof housing along with a thermoplastic polyurethane construction. Scosche says the speaker is good for up to 10 hours of audio playback, and it doubles as a speakerphone with a built-in microphone. There's also a 3.5mm input jack for playing music from an external source.

The company is also hoping to woo audiophiles with its new RH1060 headphones. Scosche says that the headset is "reference grade" thanks to neodymium magnets and "precision wound copper," but we're a little skeptical considering the headphones pipe audio over Bluetooth. Still, you’ll gain a wireless range of up to 33 feet in exchange for the questionable quality. Playback controls have been placed on the side, with cushioned memory foam aiming to keep listeners’ ears comfortable.
