Comic legend Stan Lee turned 90 today, and in celebration, The Washington Post's Comic Riffs blog interviewed a number colleagues that have worked with Lee over his storied career. "Stan informed and reminded people that comics as a medium is a valid and valuable part of our cultural smorgasbord," former Spider-Man editor Danny Fingeroth said. In addition to Lee's long list of achievements, many noted his characteristic cheery resilience — Lee appeared at New York Comic Con just weeks after getting a pacemaker. "I've enjoyed every minute of my work all these years, and especially dealing with all the great fans," Lee told Comic Riffs. Happy birthday Stan Lee!
