Garry's Mod is aiming to release its Kinect PC support this Thursday.

Source Engine-powered Garry's Mod is a robust physics sandbox, commonly used for putting silly faces on familiar Half-Life characters. And on Thursday, there will be a new way of interacting with it: Kinect.

Using a Kinect device and Kinect for Windows Runtime v1.6, you'll be able to use full-body character controls, join other players to take control of a ragdoll, and more. A video (via Joystiq) shows off some of the features in action.

Looking forward to seeing what people do with this. Would be really could if they could include some sort of smoothing function to decrease the shakiness.

Amazing how far Garrys Mod has come over the years. I bought it when it launched and had a blast. Now I jump in and have no idea what's going on.
