Egypt to step up anti-Morsi protests in Cairo
Tens of thousands of Egyptians are protesting in Cairo against President Morsi and a new draft constitution, hastily approved by an Islamist-dominated constitutional assembly.
The draft will be sent to Mr Morsi, who is expected to call a referendum. The Supreme Constitutional Court is due to rule on Sunday on whether the assembly should be dissolved.
Opposition politicians are threatening to increase the pressure on the president by staging a sit-in at the presidential palace, but Mr Morsi's supporters are calling for a demonstration on Saturday in support of Islamic law.
