Preview: Bandstand Marathon Across London And UK


The Paralympics and London 2012 come to an end on Sunday, but not without making a significant amount of noise. Alongside the closing ceremony, plenty of fireworks and countless other cultural markers, listen out for the Bandstand Marathon.

This finale event will see live music performances taking place in those often neglected remnants of our more community-spirited past: the bandstand. Over 30 venues are listed for London, each housing local music groups for the afternoon. The fun starts at 1pm at the following spots:
