Will David Axelrod Lose His Mustache?

Last Wednesday, senior Obama adviser David Axelrod told MSNBC host Joe Scarborough "I will come on Morning Joe and I will shave off my mustache of forty years if we lose" Minnesota, Michigan or Pennsylvania on Election Day. And Dan Sinker intends to hold him to that promise.

Sinker, author of the notorious The F***ing Epic Quest of @MayorEmanuel, has created the website Does Axelrod Still Have His Mustache? to track the fate of the follicles. Now, Axelrod is famously fond of his nose neighbor, so he undoubtedly paid very close attention to the poll numbers before making such a bet. And lo and behold, final numbers from all three states look very good indeed; the HuffPost Models show Obama up by 5.9 in Pennsylvania, 6.5 in Michigan, and 7.5 in Minnesota. Or as Sinker puts it, "@davidaxelrod's mustache sits safely across his majestic face."
