Hijacked fuel tanker crew talk about ordeal

Indian sailors who were on board a Singapore-owned oil tanker which was hijacked close to Nigeria by pirates have said they are relieved their ordeal is over.

The captain of the boat told the BBC that the pirates came in four boats.

The Nigerian navy later rescued the crew and the Abu Dhabi Star was escorted into the port of Lagos.

Last month there were two similar hijackings just along the coast near Togo.

Will Ross reports.
