Last month CTA announced a campaign aimed at reminding people who use strollers that priority seating is intended for seniors and people with disabilities. (We typed that from memory; maybe we should be doing voiceover announcements for the transit agency.)

Anyway, the campaign went into effect this week Wednesday, with “Be Stroller Savvy” fliers being handed out to passengers with strollers in tow on buses and available at CTA rail stations. To remind everyone: CTA has an open stroller policy on buses and trains, but asks they be folded and the baby (along with any other miscellaneous detritus) held when a bus becomes crowded and warns a driver may ask riders with strollers to wait for a less-crowded bus or train.
