Man dies after van crashes into ditch near Reading

A 68-year-old man has died after his van crashed into a ditch in Berkshire.

Police were called to the B478 Playhatch Road, near Reading, on Thursday night after the van left the road.

The man, who had been driving towards Caversham, was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital where he later died.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
