Police appeal after man killed in Lewisham fight

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 22-year-old was fatally injured during a fight in Lewisham, south-east London.

The man was attacked outside a library in Lewisham High Street at about 21:20 GMT on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service suffering serious injuries and died in the early hours of Sunday.

Three men have been arrested and bailed to return to police later this month.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as severe blunt force trauma to the head and face.
