We’re not the only beer drinkers who think that session beers with lots of flavor are going to be a big deal in 2013. To get in on the cutting edge of what we hope will be a new trend, Victory Brewing Company and Philadelphia's Alla Spina Restaurant teamed up to make Hundred Horse, a dry, rich 5.5% ale made with German Kolsch yeast and Oregon chestnuts. Hundred Horse is available for a limited time, starting Thursday, January 24th. The Publican is celebrating the launch in the only way they know how, with a beer dinner.

In the spirit of collaboration, chefs Marc Vetri, Michael Deganis & Jeff Michaud of Alla Spina and Chefs Paul Kahan & Brian Huston have put together a menu and corresponding beer pairings. The menu is available for $65 a guest, not including sales tax or gratuity. The Publican’s regular menu will not be available on this night, and reservations are available every 30 minutes between 5:30pm and 10:30pm.

If you’re lucky enough to get a seat, here’s what you can look forward to tasting:
