A Lisle, Ill., father is accused of threatening to kill a high school volleyball coach and rape the man's wife and daughter after the coach benched his daughter at a regional match.

Police say John J. Kasik, 61, left numerous voicemail messages for Varsity Volleyball Coach Matt Hrubesky over the course of five hours. They say Kasik also got physical in a confrontation with the Lisle High School Athletic Director Dan Dillard.

After Hrubesky pulled Kasik's daughter from the volleyball match, Kasik allegedly drove up to Dillard and shouted at him about the game.

The Daily Herald writes:

Dillard invited Kasik to discuss the issue at school the following day. But Kasik went home and left numerous text messages and voice mails threatening Varsity Volleyball Coach Matt Hrubesky, Berlin said. The messages continued for about five hours, from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., according to police.

“He left voice-mail messages telling the coach he’s going to rape his wife and daughter and kill him,” [DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob] Berlin said.

The next day, police say Kasik arrived at the school to meet with Dillard, and "Kasik blocked the athletic director’s path out of the office and 'bumped' him repeatedly." Kasik has been charged with felony harassment and appears in court Nov. 19.
