Two men charged with car thefts across the south east

Two men have been charged in connection with 100 burglaries and car thefts in Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and London.

The pair, from south-east London, are accused of stealing 59 sets of car keys in burglaries and making off with 41 vehicles in just seven days.

They have also been charged with dangerous driving.

Kent Police, which has been working with the Metropolitan Police to crack down on burglary, said vehicles worth up to £500,000 had been stolen.
