After announcing in late September that it would bring Google's latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software to the Galaxy S III, Samsung has confirmed that UK carriers have finally begun rolling out the update to consumers. Three UK released the update yesterday, the software is available to O2 customers starting today, and Vodafone says that Android 4.1 will be available for Galaxy S III owners beginning Monday. T-Mobile UK has not yet confirmed the software update or announced a date, but Samsung UK says it is indeed coming, though subject to pending software testing and approvals. We've reached out to T-Mobile UK for more information.

Update: A T-Mobile UK spokesperson told us that "T-Mobile is working closely with its device manufacturing partner Samsung to roll-out a Jelly Bean update as soon as possible," but does not yet have an exact timeline.
