Royal wedding fever sweeps Luxembourg

The heir to the throne of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg married in a civil ceremony on Friday.

A religious service for Crown Prince Guillaume and the Belgian Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy will be held on Saturday.

Royal families from around the world will attend the occasion at Luxembourg's Notre Dame Cathedral.

Luxembourgers have a reputation for being calm and reserved, but there is a strong undercurrent of excitement sweeping through the cobbled streets.
