Bonnie and Clyde guns up for auction in New Hampshire

The guns used by American gangsters Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who died in a hail of police bullets in 1934, are up for auction in the US.

Bonnie and Clyde's exploits during the Great Depression earned them a place in American folklore.

Ted Hinton was a Dallas County Deputy Sheriff and among the group sent to kill the pair.

His son, L. J. 'Boots' Hinton, now works at the Bonnie and Clyde Ambush Museum in Louisiana.

He told BBC Radio 5 liveWeekend Breakfast that his father always said "they were just two kids that fell in love".
