Tottenham children stop traffic with flash mob dance

Help

School children have stopped traffic for a "positive" flash mob dance in last year's riot-hit Tottenham High Road in north London.

More than 100 children from Gladesmore Community School danced to the song they wrote after last year's riots, Everybody Dreams.

Deputy headteacher, Juliet Coley, explained that they wanted to "flip the script" after being depressed by images of the looted and vandalised area featured in the media.

PC Ken Egbuniwe of Haringey police took part in Monday's dance.

Pauline Pearce who berated rioters in Hackney for destroying people's property, appears in the video, produced by youth charity, Exposure Organisation.
