Xfinity TV on the PC and its array of apps is set to get a few more On Demand offerings now that Comcast has reached a multi-year distribution agreement with Scripps Networks Interactive, which owns Food Network, Travel Channel, HGTV, DIY Network, Cooking Channel, and Great American Country. The deal is part of the struggling TV Everywhere initiative, which is behind the push to make streaming video content available to cable subscribers over the internet and recently got Disney and ESPN on board. While TV Everywhere may not have had the most successful few years, today's deal means that shows like "Chopped" and "House Hunters" are available for subscribers to watch on their PCs, iPads, Android tablets, and other devices. The selection looks a bit bare right now — "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations" is noticeably missing — but it's hard to argue with more viewing options. And no, don't get your hopes up; live streaming is not a part of the deal.
