A month after President Obama updated his Facebook profile with a timeline, the White House has followed suit. The new page includes a history of the building and its occupants, from George Washington's inauguration to FDA approval of "a new manufacturer of preservative-free methotrexate." Most of the older events include links to archived documents or more information, giving users a quick history lesson while they browse. For now, it looks a little incomplete, but the administrators say they'll be adding more information as time goes on. With Congress members and other politicians slowly adapting to Facebook's new features and Obama pressing ahead to new sites like Pinterest, it's only a matter of time before every conceivable government entity is represented in social media.
