Three held after teenager stabbed on Kent train

Three men from London have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed on a train in Kent.

British Transport Police (BTP) said officers were called to Westgate-on-Sea station at 21:57 BST on Sunday.

Paramedics treated the boy at the scene for injuries to his face and neck after the incident on the 21:34 BST Ramsgate to Faversham service.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remain in custody.

BTP and Kent Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
