Photos & Video: Brookfield Zoo Welcomes A New Giraffe Calf

The Brookfield Zoo has another new baby giraffe born on June 21. On June 21, 7-year-old giraffe Jasiri gave birth to the male calf measuring 5'9" tall, weighing in at 173 pounds. This is the 59th giraffe born at Brookfield Zoo, and it's the second born in a year. Eight-month-old Dave was born in November 2012. This new guy is Dave's half-brother, and we look forward to seeing them frolic together soon.
