Spies vs Mercs returns in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. However, it comes in two flavors: Blacklist and Classic. While we thoroughly enjoyed the faster pace and customization of the 4v4 Blacklist mode, there are undoubtedly purists that want to play Spies vs Mercs as they remember it. Thankfully, it appears "Classic" mode does a good job of recreating the pace of earlier iterations of SvM.
