Four charged following Bank Holiday Whitehall protest

Four men have been charged following protests and disorder in central London on Monday.

The police made 13 arrests for offences ranging from racially aggravated criminal damage to violent disorder.

Of the four men charged, one was arrested in Whitehall and the other three in Leicester Square.

One was charged with possession of a weapon, another with possession of class A drugs and the other two with public disorder, police said.
