Man charged after east London £5m cocaine haul

A man has been charged after police recovered cocaine worth an estimated £5m.

Metropolitan Police officers discovered 37kg (81lb 6oz) of the drug in east London on Friday.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said Harry Difford, 23, of Golden Lane, Clerkenwell, is accused of possession with intent to supply drugs.

He will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Monday.
