Extra Extra: Drug Dog Sniffs Out Major Opium Shipment At O'Hare

  • A drug dog named Shadow sniffed out a major drug shipment at O'Hare airport. The packages marked "Traditional Medicines" from Laos were destined for addresses in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Authorities found the boxes packed with clothing and wood chips that had been soaked in opium. Shadow is an 8-year-old Belgian Malinois. [Tribune]
