Police try to clean up Mafia stronghold outside Naples

The area of Scampia outside Naples, has the infamous reputation of being one of the biggest drug-trafficking sites in Europe.

Decaying buildings and narrow alleys were brought to fame by the film Gomorrah, focused on the organised crime group that rules in the area.

But now local administrators and residents are challenging the region's portrayal.
