Two years after his "brutal" murder, police are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the prosecution of a 21-year-old's killer.

Adeniyi Shode, from Edgware, was stabbed in Northolt, north-west London on 2 May 2011.

Two men and two women were arrested soon after in connection with the murder, and remain on bail.

Detectives say they "strongly believe" Mr Shode, who was known as Ade or Enda, knew his attacker.

Mr Shode's mother, Antonia Frances, has urged people to come forward with information.

'Previous disagreement'

"It still hurts us to think that whoever killed Ade is still out there," she said.

"What is important is that the police can track down whoever took my son from us."

Mr Shode was found fatally wounded close to the junctions of Rowdell Road, Ealing Road and Kensington Road in Northolt.

Det Insp Andy Manning said Mr Shode was "murdered in the prime of his life".

"Two years on we continue to investigate his murder and appeal for fresh information," he said.

"We still strongly believe that Ade knew his attacker and that he was murdered due to a previous disagreement between him and the killer."
