Police clash with G8 protesters in London

More than 30 people have been arrested after anti-capitalist protesters clashed with police in Central London.

There were scuffles after officers surrounded a building in Soho - where a group called "Stop G8" were holding a "Carnival Against Capitalism".

Further demonstrations took place nearby, ahead of the two-day summit of world leaders in Northern Ireland next week.

Tom Symonds reports.
