Kittypalooza: Concert for Kitties Supports The Tree House Humane Society

By Amy Cavanaugh in Arts & Entertainment on May 5, 2013 4:00PM

Tree House Humane Society is raising money to support its animal shelter in the cutest way possible—by throwing Kittypalooza: Concert for Kitties on Thursday, May 9 at Martyrs' at 7 p.m.

There will be performances by My My My, Save the Clocktower, and Love and Radiation. Tickets are $10 and includes a raffle ticket.

Tree House is a "cageless, no kill humane organization specializing in the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured stray cats," and they also throw other events throughout the year, like the annual Stray Cat Strut. On May 31, they're holding Purrhibition at Room 13 Speakeasy, from 7 to 9 p.m., which features piano music, vegetarian hors d'oeuvres from the era, plus wine, champagne, and 'kitty' cocktails.

And as a little reward for helping support kitties, we've put together an adorable slideshow of Tree House residents for you. Go to Tree House and bring one home!

Martyrs' is at 3855 N Lincoln Ave.
