Families evicted from Metropolitan Police property

Families continue to be evicted from a property in north London which is owned by the Metropolitan Police.

Residents at Connaught House in Muswell Hill claim they have been "kicked out" and "left homeless" but the Met said the lease to Crown Housing Association expired in December and the complex would be sold.

While some families have been re-housed by the leaseholders, bailiffs have now moved in to evict families who claim they have nowhere else to go.
