Sichuan 2008: Surviving the earthquake

Liu Chang was one of the people trapped in the Sichuan earthquake in 2008, and has been talking to the BBC about his experience.

After four days in the rubble Liu Chang was rescued but he lost both his legs. His mother died in the quake which killed up to 90,000 people in the south-west province of Sichuan in China.

John Sudworth spoke to Liu Chang who told him "if we can survive this, then there is nothing we cannot overcome".
