Millennium Madejski Hotel death woman 'killed by fall'

A Christmas partygoer found at the bottom of a stairwell at Reading Football Club's hotel fell to her death, a post-mortem examination found.

The 22-year-old, who has not been formally identified, was found at the Millennium Madejski Hotel, which forms part of the stadium, on Saturday.

Tests showed she had suffered serious head injuries consistent with a fall.

Police said her death was being treated as unexplained" The woman's next of kin have been informed.
