CHICAGO — The 2013 Lollapalooza lineup wasn't out when Early Bird Passes went on sale Tuesday morning, but that didn't stop the special three-day passes — available for a discounted $200 — from selling out in less than 10 minutes.

Tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. and were sold out by 10:06 a.m.

Less than three hours later, the official Lollapalooza Twitter account announced that all full-price three-day general admission passes had sold out, too:

The lineup will be released on April 9, according to festival organizers. Also that day, single-day passes will be available for $95 apiece.

As of Tuesday afternoon, three-day passes were starting at $348 on resale website StubHub and being offered for as much as $500 on Craigslist.

In 2012, early-bird tickets were snapped up within 20 minutes of the sale going live, but three-day passes didn't sell out until April 18.

Last week, 750 super-discounted "souvenir" passes were available for $75 during a flash sale that went up with little warning and sold out in "the blink of an eye," as reported on the blog Brooklyn Vegan.

The three-day summer music festival brings big names in music to Grant Park annually in early August. Last year's headliners included The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Black Sabbath.
