A massive military exercise is taking place in the sea, land and air around Scotland.
Exercise Joint Warrior involves armed forces from Britain, the US, France, Canada, Brazil and others.
The training has seen the Royal Marines' Armoured Support Group and 42 Commando involved in a mock amphibious and aerial assault at Barry Budden in Angus.

The Royal Marine Surveillance Reconnaissance Squadron (SRS) made a low level parachute jump from an RAF Hercules aircraft over Braid Fell in Dumfries and Galloway.
The guns of 29 Commando Royal Artillery and warships HMS Diamond and HMS Westminster supported a mock attack at Cape Wrath in the Highlands.
A Lynx helicopter provided air support to the Royal Irish Regiment during training near Stranraer.
Aircraft involved include, from top, French Rafale and an E-2 Hawkeye and RAF Typhoons. The Hawkeye early warning plane was spotted over Inverness and the Great Glen on Wednesday. Rafale and Typhoon crews flying from RAF Leuchars in Fife have been pitted against each other during the exercise.
Sam Walton captured these images of Scandinavian warships, including two Norwegian stealth missile boats, at Ullapool and off Achiltibuie in Wester Ross. Passengers on a ferry sailing between Ullapool and Stornoway have reported seeing a surfaced submarine. The Joint Warrior exercise ends next week.
